Kaharau Prince 18P333 is an outstanding sire and in our view, the best bull we have ever bred at Kaharau for performance and phenotype.
Named after our dear mate and colleague Prince Rickard who was with Kaharau for over 50 years and who sadly passed away in 2020.
Sired by Waiterenui Mack L36 out of a William of Stern/Kaharau Class 790 heifer, he is hard to fault. A real sire who oozes style, softness and presence with a beautiful temperament and stands on perfect feet. He has a handsome head, terrific depth and length, smooth off the top, bone, tidy under and a generous scrotal.
Genomically tested, his performance is impressive with a positive calving ease EBV of +8, in the top 10% of the breed out to moderate birth, 600D EBV of +136 in the top 5% of the breed and milk +25 in the top 5% of the breed.
We are excited about his progeny coming through, with some thumper 2021 born calves on the ground. His first crop of sons will be offered at the 2023 Bull Sale.
